Which orthodontic-appliance do I need?
Every type of braces has its advantages and disadvantages. Be it in visibility, in application, in hygiene or even whether a malposition can be corrected at all with the desired braces. As individual as a patient is, the types of treatment in the field of orthodontics can be very different. A appliance that your neighbour has does not have to be suitable for you. It is now up to us specialists to tell you honestly with which appliance, which result can be achieved. We don't just sell you braces, but a type of treatment adapted to the patient with different possibilities. It is important to look at the patient as a whole, to recognise his biological limits and so that the treatment concept is perfectly matched for every patient individually.
Basically, we combine old and new treatment methods and means of treatment. Not everything that is new is automatically good and everything that has been used successfully for years is therefore bad.
This is one of the reasons why we are also specialized in 2nd-opinions and assessments.

Example 5:
Classical "approach after Hotz" and then braces: this means that teeth are gradually removed and space is made available so that nature itself can do as much as possible on its own. Here the 4 first premolars were removed. Treatment for approx. 3 years, but only approx. 1.5 years of this with fixed appliance.

Adult treatment 2:
Normal porcelain brackets only in the lower jaw, the upper jaw was only treated with Goshgarian and a fixed partial appliance on the right side. Strong cross bite on the right and gaps in the lower jaw. Upper front teeth had no treatment.

Adult treatment 3:
Normal porcelain brackets also only in the lower jaw, but with removal of a front tooth and then gap closure. In consultation with the general dentist the upper front teeth were then fitted with crowns.
